Are these Easter Eggs or just awesome art?
I have never really been into Easter eggs, mostly because in my childhood we were allowed to eat candy whenever we wanted, so we didn’t really have to go on a huge hunt in the backyard for a few measly pieces of chocolate.
I am a fan of all things art though, so when I saw these super artsy Easter eggs, I decided they needed to be shared. Fun fact: Easter actually started out as a fertility rite (which makes sense if you think about the fact that people hump like rabbits in the spring), in celebration of the goddess Ishtar. Eggs and bunnies were both symbols of fertility for obvious reasons. Think about that the next time you send your children into a meadow to collect hard-boiled eggs for no discernible reason.
