A sky pool suspended between two buildings is slated for construction in London.
I am sorry, but just looking at this photo makes me seeth with jealousy and desire. A sky pool is basically the ultimate pool, second only to the ocean-ending infinity pool, which gives the appearance of swimming into the sky. A sky pool is a game-changer in the world of recreational swimming.
A sky pool could probably even solve world hunger.
Okay, I probably went a little far with that last comment, but I’m excited.

Envisioned by Sean Mulryan, the chairman and CEO of development company Ballymore, the sky pool will be suspended between two buildings at the Embassy Gardens housing development in Nine Elms, London. The 90-foot-long glass basin pool with stand 10 stories above street level, bridge the gap between the two buildings, and allow residents to literally swim in the sky.
I know you’re wondering about the safety, but luckily the pool will be constructed of eight-inch-thick glass so it’s highly unlikely to shatter and murder everyone walking below.
I have seen a lot of amazing pools in my day, but this new pool basically wins at life, hands down.
