These happy turtles are the cutest on The Internet, and possibly the Universe (do other planets even have turtles, never mind happy turtles?).
I normally don’t like turtles for several reasons. First off, they often carry salmonella, which will most definitely give you the sh*ts. Second, they tend to try to scratch people when picked up. Third, they aren’t really edible (apparently some cultures eat them, but I’m ignoring this since they’re not readily available next to ‘chicken fingers’ on most of my favorite menus), so I don’t understand why they really exist.

You can’t deny that turtles are really cute, especially when they are babies. Even though they are just screaming silently, when turtles open their mouths they look like they’re smiling. Does anyone else remember when tourists would bring back baby turtles from tropical islands with gloriously painted shells? God bless the 80s.
