Rihanna’s post-apocalyptic photo spread in W Magazine is a must-see.
Recording artists always tend to refer to themselves as artists, but my favorite thing ever is when they actually look the part. Most celebrity photoshoots I see are pretty run of the mill and boring, but Rihanna is basically the exact opposite of both of those words. As you probably know, Rihanna is basically our generation’s Tina Turner; pushing boundaries and breaking down walls with everything from her weed advocacy to her crazy fashion.

Shot for W’s September 2016 cover, Rihanna was reimagined as a post-apocalyptic goddess by Edward Enninful, Steven Klein, and Andrew Kevin Walker. With this upcoming election, the future of our country looks kind of bleak, but if it looks anything like this photo spread, I am all for it. Dystopia has truly never looked so good.
