Hennessy’s Artistry Blend

This past Wednesday evening, Gotham Hall was the place to be in New York City as Hennessey wrapped up its third annual Artistry Blend Concert Series. Featuring performances from pop sensation Leona Lewis, rapper Fabulous and R&B crooner Ne-Yo, the event was packed with both music fans and Hennessey lovers excited to experience the blend of all.  The invitation-only event bought out a long list of who’s who in the industry from Lipstick Jungle girls Brooke Shields, Lindsay Price and Rosie Perez to other big names celebs – Russell Simmons, Diane Kruger, Joshua Jackson, Tory Burch, Stephon Marbury, Usher and so many more.
More than the headliner, Ne- Yo also served as the concert’s inaugural curator, overseeing everything from the musical line-up to the guest experience of décor and lighting in addition to the attire of the servers – decked out in head-to-toe black with fitted baby tees and skin tight shorts… all of which made for a sexy, sophisticated and soulful evening.
Party goers were treated to an open bar of signature cocktails as Leona Lewis performed a couple of tracks from her debut album “Spirit” including the hit single, Bleeding Love.  Ne-Yo on the other hand performed more than a few tracks, giving the crowd a taste of his previous two platinum selling albums with past hits like “So Sick”, “Love Song”  and “Sexy Love”.  And just when Ne-Yo fans were at their height, the artist cruised into his current chart topper “Miss Independent” performing both the original version as well as the remix with rapper Fabulous, from his current album “Year of the Gentleman”.  By the end of the evening it was more than evident that whether you were a fan of the music, the Hennessey Mojitos or both,  it all came together for one smooth blend.
