Homes in Iceland are typically more in tune with nature than those in more developed countries. The landscape offers so much lush greenery during the summer months that houses are actually built into the local topography, rather than apart from it. Most roofing eventually gets covered in greenery… how chic!
Its nice, but think of how pissed you’ll be if the people mowing your roof’s grass decide to get an early start on an otherwise quiet Sunday morning 🙂
Kidding aside, I know several people who made a vacation out of visiting Iceland and have RAVED about it. Its only about 4 hours away too. Its on my bucket list.
Looks like a glorified Tele-tubby house. No joke.
Still pretty, but kinda creepy.
haha that tele tubbies comment is funny.
but seriously they can plant food provisions etc. anywhere (including their roof) and would therefore seem to be more advanced in the global food industry. hmm…i wonder
