GOOD WOOD for FINGER FASHION

What’s better than a humungous colorful cocktail ring that virtually breaks your hand with the sheer weight of it, but it looks so awesome that you can’t pass up wearing said bauble?  A humungous colorful ring that’s lightweight, giving you the feeling that you’re wearing a feather of beauty upon your hand.  We’ve found them… thanks to LoveMerts wooden cocktail rings.  Designer Melissa Michelsen has a similarly nostalgic feeling as I to the smell of raw wood & sawdust. The scent brings me back to helping my Irish carpenter dad do exotic woodworking projects, being awed by the craftsmanship as he carved away on a 2×4, getting saw dust ALL over the friggin’ house.  It was like living in a barn, but I loved every minute of it.

Despite our mutual love for wood, I’m smitten with this designer’s rings for their colorful geometric styling, their ability to compliment with the wildest of manicures, and their lightweight yet tough-girl vibe that will accompany any maybe-Irish-y fist-to-the-face-girl-fight-bar-brawling that could maybe happen as soon as one maybe starts drinking whiskey.
