While the iPod Nano has always had some things going for it (size, price, mobility when working out), it’s never been my preferred music device. It’s pretty limiting when your library has more than 2,000 songs in it (and most libraries do), so despite an attractive price tag, it still seems like a waste of money. But! Recognizing that the Nano was a hard sell, Apple has fleshed out the latest version by stocking it with 18 unique built-in clock faces.
The Nano can be inserted into several watchbands – anything from slap watchbands (from Griffin Technology) to the more ‘adult’ metal watchband (by HEX technology).
There are still some issues (i.e. running a set of headphones from your ears to your wrist, no waterproof options) – but the Nano’s new lease on life is a step in the right direction.
