Drink them as juice – peeling and eating them is just too time consuming!
I just juiced one the other day by hand with the juicer I use for oranges, and wondered why I never thought of it before. The vibrant crimson hue in my glass was so inspiring and energizing just to look at, apparently radiating greater vital life force than what we often see the stores selling in bottles. I proceeded to drink it on on empty stomach- and became slightly queasy, as I do with wheatgrass, green tea, or vitamins when I’ve had nothing to eat yet for the day. This just further confirmed that to me that pomegranate is, in fact, a superfood. It’s not just food, it’s medicine!
Drinking them in cocktails! Yum.

Add pomegranate seeds to cream cheese for a yummy spread on crackers or celery. I ‘liked’ Weleda on Facebook weeks ago. For about a month I’ve been using the Pomegranate Firming Serum and Day Cream….my 60-year-old skin loves it and looks/feels so nice!
Well…in some cultures pomegranates are a sign of fertility. Let’s just say that due to pressing financial constraints, I do not consume them for that reason. π However, other cultures believe that pomegranates bring good luck. SOLD!!!!! Need more of that pronto!!!!! So I’ve been drinking them in vast quantities…we’re talking pomegranate lemonade, pomegranate fruit smoothies, pomegranate granitas, pomegranate beer…but I also enjoy them as a topping on cereals, farina, salads (they are actually awesome in salads). Sometimes, when I am feeling less slothful, I reach for them instead of Skittles or Dots…and I actually think they might be better. I also truly believe that they are great topically on the skin, which is why I am loving the idea of maybe getting to try Weleda’s eye cream version…I am sort of in an eye cream rut so that would be the first sign that the good luck from eating all the pomegranates has been working…
I love to snack on dark chocolate pomegranate from Brookside and drink pomegranate green tea from Republic of tea.

my favorite thing to do with pomegranate seeds is just eat them “au naturale” but i also enjoy tossing them in salads for a tangy burst of flavor, floating them in mimosas (when i’m not pregnant – i’m 5 months along now π and popping them in my smoothies along with some blueberries!
I like eating pomegranate as is! I pop the little pieces out of the fruit, give them a rinse, and chill them.
There’s nothing better than pomegranate juice in a nice tall Guinness. I learned that in Ireland – but I sure as heck wouldn’t mind trying it on my face!
I take pomegrranate and use it in my own smoothies, as fabric dye, Depending on hoe long you leave the fabric in the solution the richer the color. I’ve used it so many different ways.
I do love a pomegranate mojito xoxox π
