If you’re anything like me, you sit at a desk in front of a computer screen for several hours at a clip. You get up to adjust your sweater, to grab a snack, to find some lip balm, to pee, and obviously to wash your hands a bunch- but when it’s getting cold out and we’re fiddling around with keyboards and hand washing all day, it only leads to one pain-in-the-you-know-what symptom. Dry hands.
Dry hands, aside from being generally ugly, can lead to several severe life complications including (but not limited to):
- Breakups with boyfriends (who wants to hold a crispy hand?)
- Having to give more oral satisfaction if your boyfriend sticks around, because honestly, your hands won’t cut it.
- Blood on your keyboard
- A weird symptom that resembles dandruff on your gloves
Don’t despair, though- we found some pretty perfect solutions to keep your little fingers and palms completely perfect:
- Glowology’s Nourishing Hand Lotion for Sensitive Skin. It’s hypoallergenic, light, smells like a dream, and the pump is perfect to keep on your desktop. Your biggest issue now will be keeping people out of your desk area in search of a little hand moisture.
- Dixie Bits Whippa Peel. OK, so this one’s actually a body lotion, but it’s packed with real ginger, ginseng, and marshmallow root and is light enough to have a greaseless hand moisturizing experience. It’s also great on arms and elbows- so put that in your pipe!
- Burts Bees Shea Butter Hand Repair. This one has a really mild scent, so it’s perfect for fragrance-sensitive people (especially guys that don’t want to smell like gals), and the shea butter formula goes to work instantly for the most intensive lightweight therapy we’ve seen yet.
