I just recovered from Halloween, and already in a couple weeks it will be Thanksgiving! So, in preparation, I’ve been shopping like a crazy person for a beautiful, yet still affordable, dining table (as I stupidly offered to host dinner at my place without even owning a table). I’m def not the most interior design savvy hostess of the mostest, as my current “table ” folds up and is stored under the couch when I’m not using it, and thus sought out help from a pro. In doing some research for all of 5 minutes, I came across @DinetteGuy on Twitter, the “founder of Dinette.com & budget-friendly interior design expert,” to get some advice on which table would be best for my cramped space, and would work with my barren white walls, which I can’t paint because I’m renting. New York City living – gotta love it…
Then I found the tweet that put my dining table fretting to rest, “Feel confined? Contrasting colors grow your space: ex. placing a dark cappuccino table against a white/light wall is #sochicithurts.”
Intrigued, I shopped around dinette.com until stumbling across this contemporary beauty, the Apollo Cappuccino Dining Table for less than $200 – done and done! Chic, dark wood dining table: check.
Now all I have to figure out is how to cook a turkey, mash potatoes, and which wine to serve – any suggestions?!
