A Psychic in Your City

Written by Bryce

Before the election, I started working on this article by reaching out to a few world-reknowned psychics in different regions of the US.  I wanted to ask each psychic 3 specific things, and see what they had to say:

1) What do they see happening in the world, and specifically in the US?

2) What do they see as the next “it” trends in fashion, beauty, and health?

3) What specific insights did they have for my own life?  (this was more to verify just how intense their skills are)

So my first call was to Barbara Newman, a psychic based in Charleston, South Carolina that has 12 years experience as a psychic, and even specializes in removing harmful past experiences from our souls’ DNA.  I was intrigued.  Barbara refers to herself as a “channel” rather than a psychic and provides intuition.

Here are some of Barbara’s thoughts on the world and upcoming trends that I thought you would like to see:

  • Obama will be elected (check!)
  • By 2012, the world as we know it will cease… not anything terrible, just that we’ll all be living our lives in an entirely different way.
  • In fashion, Barbara predicts that there will be a major 2009/2010 dichotomy… some women will be flaunting super-girly pearls and pastels, while others will be dripping in black, gothic/punk fashions.

My next psychic experience was with Rick from LifesGift.com, and it was seriously life-changing.  Rick is cool midwestern guy that’s the son of a preacher’s daughter (cue the music).  His grandfather was a famous evangelist… spirituality runs in his genes!  My phone call with Rick was incredible.  He’s very down to earth, easy to speak to and listen to, and he’s also a medium.  I consider myself to be a relatively open-minded person, but I didn’t know what I was in for when I took this call with Rick.  He managed to not only make predictions, but to communicate with my deceased great grandmother.  I’m sure you’re all skeptical, I was too.  At one point he actually described exactly where I was sitting, how I was holding my pen (and in which hand), the bottle of water next to my hand, and the additional pen next to that.  I was sitting at my table on the 43rd floor of my Manhattan apartment, while Rick was on the other line in the midwest.  We had never met before, nor did he know ANY details about me prior to my call. He managed to give accurate details about my mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and my paternal grandfather. If you’re looking to reach out to a lost loved one, friend, etc… Rick is your man!  And at $57 for an hour session on the phone, you REALLY can’t lose.

Some of Rick’s predictions that I thought were interesting:

  • Rick also mentioned that Obama will win, and he was right.  He mentions that in 2010 Obama or someone in his close family will face a major health issue.
  • In trends, Rick sees our culture approaching a more 1950’s-esque lifestyle.
  • Throw out your shoes!!! Just kidding, Rick does she women’s shoe fashions taking a major turn from the current, and whatever we wear now will be soooo outdated by next fall/winter.

To schedule an appointment with Rick (which I say is a slam dunk as a holiday gift for a close friend or loved one), visit his site at LifesGift.com

The last psychic I spoke with was Stacey Wolf, who has been featured on The View, The Late Show with David Letterman, and countless other tv shows.  Stacey is a real New York City kinda gal… she’s straight to the point, communicates clearly, and has no issue saying what she really means.  I think she’s perfect for our city-dwelling readers: a mix of glamour and a no-nonsense approach.

Stacey’s feelings that you’d be interested to know:

  • In fashion, there’s shrinkage!  Bags, sunglasses, and other accessories start to get smaller and more delicate again.  Goodbye to Olsen-twin sunglasses, wearing mega-rocks strung from bike chains around our necks, and giant bags that give us back issues!
  • There will be less terrorism on a worldwide level (sounds good to me), although there may be some isolated incidents of poisonings.
  • There will continue to be major economic upheavals in the US, and abroad (sigh).

Stacey provides tele-sessions, and in-person sessions (for those of you in NYC), for $225 for a 40 minute phone session, or $250 in person.  You can learn more about her at StaceyWolf.com
