A Young Neck is a Good Neck

Written by Bryce

In the battle against aging, a good neck is like carrying a cannon.

In the never ending battle against the signs of aging, we warriors (aka “women”), have only met hand to hand combat with eyes, lips, and facial skin.  We’ve forgotten that one of the biggest parts of the battle is the neck. A cute, vibrant face can be totally ruined by a saggy, dull neck and bib area- so you can imagine that putting a very minor amount of effort in during our 20’s, 30’s, and 40’s will be well worth it so no one makes the mistake of thinking we’re just another old lady. We have every intention of being the hot, glowing older women that walks with dignity and grace (Helen Mirren, we’re looking at you).

The solution, ladies, rests in the precious ingredients that heal and protect our faces, but with a slightly different consistency to prevent breakouts and that oozy, slimy feeling that a face cream might leave if you rubbed it all over your neck.  Our favorites, in no particular order:

1. Bambola’s Moisturizing Sunscreen: Don’t be fooled by the name! This is a moisturizer that just happens to have spf 30 in it without all that weird sunscreeny smell.  It’s organic, natural, paraben-free and will protect your neck and chest from looking leathery, sun-spotted, and discolored.

2. Mychelle’s Revitalizing Night Cream: This one offers deep moisture, perfect for those cold winter months, without harsh chemicals, dyes, or funky preservatives.  You’ll be using more cream for your neck and bib area than just your face, so it’s especially important to make sure your skin reacts well to whatever you put on it!

3. La Prairie’s Anti-Aging Neck Cream: You like luxury? So do we. This one packs a seriously beautiful punch because it helps tone and slim the neckline while improving overall elasticity and tone.

4. Elizabeth Grant Collagen Firming Neck Cream: Collagen- it’s out little miracle worker and a known skin rejuvenator. Fab!
