See what happens when you let adults play with coloring books?
Unless you spent your childhood locked away like a flower in the attic (AKA Solange Knowles) at one point or another, you probably experienced the joys of a coloring book. You were probably either the type of kid who colored inside the lines, or a bad-ass, devil worshipping monster child who just added in color wherever the eff you felt like it. I will give you one guess which type of kid I was. Unfortunately, as we age, the joy of coloring books is often lost upon us, and we descend into our adult lives looking at everything in black and white.

That is, of course, unless you are an adult who likes coloring books. I read a study recently that says its healthy for adults to use coloring books as a form of stress relief. As these pictures show, it is totally true. I don’t know if coloring relieves stress because it is relaxing, or because as adults we can take out all our aggression on the pages by transforming the images into grotesque abattoirs of color, but regardless of reason, I like it. I approve of it. I am going out to buy myself a coloring book right this second.
