Automated Restaurant Does Away with Human Interaction

A new restaurant in San Francisco has no interaction with human staff.

I know some older people may not agree with this, but I hate human interaction. In this day and age its becoming super easy to get by in life without actually interacting with humans; we shop, order food, and even arrange dates online. It was only a  matter of time then, before restaurants adopted this method, too.

Eatsa, based in San Francisco is all over The Internet because it has done exactly that. At Eatsa, you order your food on iPads, and then pick them up in small glass compartments on the wall. This automated version of fast food allows the restaurant to serve a higher volume of patrons, and create a new way to eat out. Behind the scenes there are obviously humans preparing the food orders, but if things keep going in this direction, it won’t be long before that no longer exists, either.

The next Eatsa store is slated to open in LA in two months. If New York doesn’t jump on this bandwagon soon, I may be making a trip to the East coast, post-haste.
