I love to make a good impression when it comes to the holidays; you see family you haven’t seen since your awkward stage and photo opportunities abound. Good impressions basically start with good hair, let’s be real, and  if anyone knows good hair, it’s Living Proof creative director Tim Rogers. Here are 4 easy tips to take you from today to New Year’s!

1. Start with healthy hair. To get lustrous, shining hair, apply heat protecting products to help shield, polish, and perfect strands.

2. Get a long lasting style. Do you usually apply styling products when your hair is dry? Applying them while hair is wet is important because it ensures even application of products.

3. Raise the volume. Up the drama with a deep side part! It will give your locks instant bounce and a fuller shape.

4. For natural waves…hold your curling iron horizontally. It creates a more natural look, as opposed to barrel curls that make you look like a Victorian maiden in the convent.
