Bellport, New York is taking the Internet by storm as a ‘must-visit’ destination.
When most people think of New York, they think of the city. The majority of the world doesn’t realize that New York state is actually absolutely gorgeous outside the city, and little towns like Bellport are proof of that very fact. Lately, photos of Bellport have been popping up all over the internet, likely making it the next it town to visit. Consider this my public service announcement regarding that. Located on the South Shore of Long Island, Bellport is halfway between Manhattan and the Hamptons. As you can see from the photos, it is the perfect place to relax, and has the old school colonial vibe that makes places like it perfect for getaways. The best part is its only about 90 minutes from NYC, and only has a population of 2,083 (as of 2013).
So if you are looking for a relaxing getaway from New York, Bellport may be the perfect place for you.
