The new Bentley Bentayga is the first in a new line of luxury SUVs.
I have never owned an SUV personally, but I have been in the back seat of enough of them to know my way around. When it comes to luxury SUVs, most rich folks tend to opt for Range Rovers, Land Rovers, or BMW’s. Super luxury car companies haven’t previously released anything noteworthy, and Bentley aims to be the first.
The Bentley Bentayga was originally unveiled in 2012 at the Geneva auto show, and since then other companies such as Aston Martin, Rolls-Royce, and Lamborghini have started working on super-luxe SUVs of their own.

The Bentayga can go from 0-60 in only 4 seconds, has a top speed of 187 mph, and will come in both diesel and hybrid versions. It also has predictive adaptive cruise control so it controls its own speed depending on traffic patterns. The inside is so luxurious it’s leather seats are made from cows that live in cooler climates so they have less insect bites. Basically, this new SUV has all the luxury you would expect from Bentley, but a little bigger so you can cram all your kids in the back, and make all the other soccer moms at your kid’s game totes jeals. Although, all I really need to be totally happy is heated seats.
