Keeping fit while playing bingo is surprisingly fun, you kn0w– hipster style.
All the typical old people sports are making a huge comeback– shuffleboard bars in Brooklyn, badminton matches in Central Park, and bocce ball courts popping up in Miami, bingo happening at just about every chic dive bar. All the other sports have a physical component, but bingo’s time in the fitness sun only just occurred.

It can be particularly difficult to keep fit while you have mouths to feed or if you spend a lot of time at the computer and Gala Bingo understands this better than anybody. To help combat those of us most prone to suffering as a result of a long day at our desks, Gala Bingo has thoughtfully put together a wonderful graphic that shows some of the best exercises that will keep bingo wings at bay. The exercises will be applicable to anyone and will make you see just how simple it is to do a little bit of effective exercise each day. The Seated Leg Raiser
To get you started, warm up exercises are a must in order to prepare yourself for what is to come later. The ‘Seated Leg Raiser’ can be done seated at your desk because all you have to do is straighten your legs and hold for five in the air. Then lower your legs back to the ground slowly without letting your feet touch the floor and repeat…simple!
The Fist Pump
While nobody in the office is looking fist punch into the air whilst alternating arms. This will work at keeping those unwanted bingo wings away while releasing some tension and any suppressed anger issues you may have too.
The Silent Seat Squeeze
To start toning your buttocks, simply squeeze and hold for 5-10 seconds, and then release and repeat. This will help to tone the area and nobody will even notice you’re doing it!
The best way to keep a healthy body and mind is to do a little bit of exercise every day. This can be in the form of walking the dog, or going to a Zumba class.
