Over the holidays, if you were living and breathing the fine Scottish air in Edinburgh, spending NYE taking full advantage of the party life in London, or were just hungry in Liverpool, we’re wondering if YOU took advantage of Burger King’s limited edition Brussels Sprouts Burger – aptly dubbed the Burger King Sprout Surprise Whopper, because we’re thinking one could only have been severely intoxicated, jumped, blindfolded, dragged in to the back of a pub and fed this surprise fed this nonsense. Reportedly put on the menu, at the same price as a normal Whopper, to encourage the stigma change of sprouts, Eater reported that BK’s Facebook (Pauly Paul looks like a die-hard) put fans to the test:
“Sorry to hear some of you weren’t too keen on the idea of the Sprout Surprise Whopper yesterday, but we’re confident that The King can make even Brussels Sprouts taste good!”
Did anyone get the chance to give this thing a whopper-sized whirl?
