You Probably Won’t Be Happy With Your Body Until 65

A new survey shows that people hit peak confidence at 65.

I don’t think I’ve ever really come across someone who hasn’t had an issue with their body and has felt selfconcious about it. It’s something we all deal with on a daily basis, even the supermodels of the world. A new survey¬†released by Gallup broke down the ages when people feel most happy.

Gallup surveyed over 85,000 adults to find out at what age bracket did they feel most comfortable in their body. 66% of the people surveyed felt most confident with their body at the age of 65+. I assume after living for 65 years you kind of just figure out that this is your body and there’s nothing you can really do about it. Why be upset about it? At 65, you’ve lived a pretty great life and don’t need anything else bringing you down. An age bracket of 18-34 came next, followed by 35-64.

So what have we learned? That I will not wait another 40+ years to be happy in my body. I’m slender, hairless and have an adorable face. I’m happy. You should be too.
