It’s about time these classic children’s books from the 80s got an awesome update.
When I was young, my mom had a milk crate full of books she affectionately called ‘the library’ and encouraged all 4 of her little ones to make use. This was especially funny because we basically lived in a hovel, but I can’t tell you how many days I spent hiding in her closet with a flashlight (too easy), reading my little toddler tootsies off.
I never actually read Sweet Valley High or The Hardy Boys, but pretty much all books back then were the same, right? I mean, I was a young gay child (yes, even then I was all rainbows and wondering when David Hasselhoff would make his way to Florida’s panhandle), so I at least knew that Sweet Valley High held the majority of life’s secrets. Frankly, it is about damn time someone photoshopped them into something awesome like this.

Hopefully these book titles give you a little nostalgia, or a good laugh. At the very least, I think we should sign a petition to bring these books to life.
