After 11 years of living in Manhattan, and nearly 7 of them as a mom, it’s no surprise that finding the cutest ‘I Love NY’ shirts for kids was high on my priority list.
PiccoliNY is an independent fashion brand nestled between the intertwined borders and cultures of Little Italy and Chinatown. It was created by New York native, Alex Zagami, and features American-made trinkets of NYC love (because who’d want it any other way?). The label is a little kid’s way of saying “Hi, I’m from New York and I love it… also, I’m the coolest.” Because frankly, turning iconic NYC buildings and giant gorilla-apes into symbols of New York love is endlessly cool. The collection spans a variety of kid sizes (my own are wearing 2T, 4T, and 8 in the above photo). My two younger ones are wearing the pretzel version, while my big guy is king of the concrete jungle-ing it up with this version.
The brand is known for their creative, sassy take on loving the city that never sleeps, but also has a ton of other adorable finds for little ones like this Good Night Brooklyn book, perfect for helping tragically hip toddlers find their way to slumber.

There’s also a cartoon-ish version of Julia Child-propaganda, which I can only assume most parents would be OK with. Like, hi kid, make something delish of yourself and your future. Love always, the people raising you. Check it out:
