Every interior needs at least one quirky piece of decor. This statement piece will act as a conversation-starter, and add a wow factor to an otherwise run-of-the-mill design scheme. In my apartment it’s a piece of art that I painted that depicts a maelstrom (using all the colors from my living room). If you look closer though, there are tiny mod-podged creatures being sucked into the maelstrom that I cut out from a print of a Hieronymous Bosch painting, like dogs with owl heads and snake tails.
Much like my painting, this rabbit chair takes an ordinary staple to any room and puts a spin on it, so that it becomes something slightly more than its original intention. Adding a quirky piece of decor like this is a great way to showcase your individuality while maintaining function.
