Decor Spotting: Bed-Skirt Alternatives

Written by Gary

If you’re like me, you struggle with the idea of a bed-skirt. On one hand, you don’t want everyone to see all the crap you have to hide under your bed, like dildos, sewing machines, and past lovers that just wouldn’t go away. On the other, you don’t want your room to look like your grandmother’s musty old deathbed. My solution was to just buy a king size flat sheet to use as a bed-skirt, because it was a little more masculine than a dust-ruffle. If you don’t have a lot of embarrassing crap though, you might try buying an extra fitted sheet for the box spring.

The result is an elegant, streamlined look that matches the rest of your linens perfectly.
