I remember at one of my ex boyfriends’ family homes there was a huge wall beside a staircase that was littered with photos of all the married couples in his family. I always thought it was such a great gesture, and clever way to display family photos.
Maybe its just because my family is so awesome, but I think it is a beautiful thing to display your family tree for everyone to see. Our families say a lot about us as people, and our lineages are something to be proud of, whether we come from illustrious backgrounds or a tinfoil trailer in the backwoods of Mississippi. Painted tree murals have been a trend for a while now, so why not take it one step further, and two steps more relevant and add photos of your favorite people? (Or, if you hate your family you can put up photos to remind you of how lucky you are that as an adult, you only have to see them if you want to.)
