Potus Plant

via Inhabit

Recently a dear friend challenged me to buy a potted plant and keep it alive in my Manhattan apartment. I have to admit I don’t know how its going because even though my plant is a succulent that only needs watering every 10 days I am used to drinking alcohol when I am thirsty rather than water. I will say that the little touch of green makes a difference in my bedroom and changes the overall tone. And there is nothing more stylish than the juxtaposition of a plant growing out of a lightbulb.

Plants create oxygen and oxygen helps our brains function and our hearts beat. Even the smallest plant can breathe some life to any room. Even if you are honestly incapable of keeping a plant alive, the suggestion of green will make you feel better about stampeding down concrete streets every day. Here are a few suggestions at different price points from inhabitatshop to spruce up your interior.
