Decor Spotting: The Fruit Gourd Lamp

Written by Gary

In the past few years I have noticed a trend in gourd usage, which leads me to believe that gourds are the perfect food; mostly because most of the ways I have seen it used have nothing to do with actually eating one of the damned things. On Halloween you see painted gourds, people use hollow gourds as flower pots, bowls, garden decorations, and now lamps.

The fruit gourd lamp would be great in a living room to create ambiance, or a child’s room to entertain the little bastard until he/she falls asleep.

It is a great conversation piece for the bedroom as well, just make sure that when the lights go off it doesn’t distract you too much from the task at hand, whether that be snoozing, f*cking, or crying yourself to sleep yet again.
