Dubbed “The Italian Pants-Dropper” for reasons intriguing &Â kind of erotic, there was nothing that could stop me from getting my little alchy hands Tuaca, a Vanilla Citrus Liqueur that I kind of was hoping would live up to its name.
My first encounter — the Design Trust for Public Space Annual Fundraiser. Classy art auctions, hot crowd, and the woweeee drinks from Chambord, were fruity & delish, but this Tuaconcoction (say that 5 times fast, I betchoo can’t) made me giddy for design joy. It was the recipe below (delish) plus a dash of hot sauce (AYYY PAPI!). Leaving out the deets, it made for an extra weird & interesting night. Italian pants may have been dropped. Drink up, and report back.
TUACA Pineapple
- 1 1/2 oz TUACA
- 4 oz pineapple juice
- pineapple slice
Pour TUACA into a highball glass over ice and fill with pineapple juice.
Garnish with a pineapple slice. If you want to get spicy — dash of hot sauce (as mentioned above) works like a charm. Or if you’re feeling EXTRA spicy… get all up on the Tuaca Tuscan Spice.
the hot sauce and pineapple mixture doesn’t seem appealing.
it’s super delish. you don’t taste the hot sauce – just the spice at the end.
