In Japan, they have developed an egg that smells and tastes like citrus fruit.
I may often bitch about all the weird stuff that comes out of Asia, but the truth is I am actually fascinated by it. In fact, if Asia didn’t invent so many rando things, I might never have anything to write about.
Today we are focusing on Japan, and the creation of ‘yuzu tama’ eggs, which reportedly smell and taste like the yuzu, a popular citrus fruit over there that looks like the baby of a lemon and orange, but tastes like the baby of a grapefruit and mandarin.
Is your mind blown yet?
The cool thing about this, is that the yuzu tama eggs weren’t created with chemicals or harmful additives, they were produced by changing the chickens diets to copious amounts of yuzu peel, kale, non-GMO corn, and sesame seeds.
If you are like me, and hate the smell of raw eggs, this news is music to your ears.
Easter is coming up, after all.
