I am a huge fan of Crybaby. There clothes are beautiful, and have an effortless simple aesthetic with punk undertones. The leather skirts, lace dresses, plaids and pleats will make perfect outfits for the holidays.
It was the high-top chuck tailors that fueled the first conversation Crybaby was founded by Dakota Solt and Lisa Ziven. The ladies were thirteen-year-old students at Los Angeles’ Harvard- Westlake School and took solace in knowing someone just across the hall was as into art, fashion and film.
Following their graduation from high school, both Dakota and Lisa opted to leave the West to attend the Rhode Island School of Design across the country. Dakota and Lisa, under the moniker of CRYBABY Presents, are launching a unique project that is sure to play an important role in the future of LA’s growing community of fashion designers, artists, and aficionados alike.
