Fashion Spotting: The Maxi Revolution

Written by Ashley

Maxi dress yourself into a weekend of bliss.

This post is very simple. I’m going to tell you that I’ve become OK, in life, with wearing maxi-dresses as a larger busted gal.  I usually rely on my & slim hips to give definition to my bod, so it’s been hard for me to hide my longer, skinnier legs under tons of fabric only to contour the only top half of my body in to a linebacker status figure.  BUT – I’ve come to realize that with the right fabric (no cotton to stretch out around my ass, please), the right shoes (heels, please), the right accessories (waist-cinching belt, please) and a top bun to define the shoulders & neckline (hipsters, please) I have transformed in to a girl that can rock a maxi.  These are next in the queue of my wardrobe conquests:

Madewell color code maxi dress [$195  madewell.com]

All Saints Haya Maxi Dress [$250 $175 us.allsaints.com]
