The new trend in speed eating: alcohol. Personally, I haven’t stepped foot into a fast food restaurant in the past five years unless I was heavily intoxicated, so I’m declaring this the Business Move of the Century.

Sonic will open two booze-friendly restaurants in Florida later this summer and Burger King has three domestic alcohol-centric locations (in addition to three abroad). Pizza Hut has offered $3 pints for decades, and Starbucks serves beer in four locations (all located in their hometown of Seattle).

I’m excited to see where this trend goes – mostly because I miss the fuck out of Wendy’s chicken nuggets and could use the incentive to dine there once more.
