Fleet Week is back and here are some tips to landing a sailor.
Do you remember where you were when you found out Fleet Week was cancelled? I do. More importantly, I remember where I was when I found out Fleet Week would return. It just happens that both times were when I was in a bar.
I am a proud supporter of our sailors. Since moving to New York City, I have made it my personal mission to support our troops and do what I can for our sea men. Do you need some tips on picking up a few good men? We’ve got you covered.
My favorite trick is to take a few shots, grow a pair, and then head over to my sailor and plant a big kiss on him. It’s pretty full-proof considering they’re usually frightened. A veteran petty officer spoke to the NYPost and suggested vocalizing your support for the troops. Don’t forget, you can also go for tours of the ships. That’s a great way to pick up some guys. Finally, don’t be stupid here. You know a sailor wants a cheap drink and some pretty ladies (or a slim and slender pretty boy like myself) so go to your usual bars and check out the scene.
