We’ve all heard the benefits of superfruits, like acai and pomegranate being rich in nutrients and high in antioxidant power. But now there’s something to be even more excited about when it comes to superfruits – they are now in liquor! A specific liquor to be exact – Veev, the world’s first acai spirit! This summer, superfruit your usual drink of choice by grabbing a pitcher, throwing in a handful of strawberries or a scoop of cranberries, adding a decent pour of a VeeV and topping up with ice and soda. These drinks are a refreshing alternative to sugary Cosmos and will keep your waist-line in check! If that isn’t something worth doing naked cartwheels over, I don’t know what is. Give these recipes a try at your next summer cookout!
Sparkling Açaà Sangria
- 1/2 bottle of VeeV Açaà Spirit
- 4 oz elderflower liqueur
- 4 oz orange juice
- Top with sparkling wine
- Fresh fruit, for garnish
Fill the pitcher 3/4 way with ice, add all ingredients and stir well.
Açaà Mojito
- ½ bottle of VeeV Açaà Spirit
- 5 oz simple syrup
- 6oz fresh lime juice
- 4 oz blueberry puree (optional)
- 5 sprigs of mint
Top with club soda
Muddle the mint in the bottom of the pitcher. Fill the pitcher ¾ way with ice, add all ingredients and stir well
Re-VeeV-Er
- 1/2 bottle of VeeV Açaà Spirit
- 10 oz blueberry purée (~45 blueberries)
- 6 oz fresh lime juice
- 3 oz simple syrup
Fresh or frozen blueberries, for garnish
Superfruit Margarita
- 1/2 bottle of VeeV Açaà Spirit
- 5 oz blanco tequila
- 7 oz fresh lime juice
- 5 oz simple syrup
- 4 oz POM juice (optional)
- 4 lime wheels, for garnish
Fill the pitcher 3/4 way with ice, add all ingredients and stir well.
