I am s-i-c-k of cold, winter weather, and want nothing more than to escape to a deserted tropical island ala Blue Lagoon. However, one cannot just simply run away to the islands so easily (work, kids, the farm, crazy live-in mothers-in-law and a severe case of pteromerhanophobia). The solution is clear, or rather Caribbean in this case: after a long, stressful day, I take a few minutes to “get away” from it all and replenish dry winter skin by lathering my body with soothing body silk to simulate the soothing effects of the Caribbean breeze, while listening to Israel Kamakawiwo’ole cd. As much as we would love to send every one of our readers on an all expenses paid vacay, we are giving away uber luxurious Kukui Body Silk lotions in this week’s giveaway to at least simulate the experience (easy listening Hawaiian cd not included)!

Kukui Body Silk by Caribbean Solutions is a rich, non-greasy lotion that relieves the skin of sun related heat (or tanning beds), hastening the tanning process and preventing peeling. The company uses organic aloe leaf from the Caribbean for its healing abilities, kukui oil from Hawaii for its penetrating and time-released moisturizing qualities, squalene oil from Sicilian olives for its skin rejuvenating capabilities, and a variety of tropical plant extracts from the Caribbean known for their high content of natural vitamin E and moisturizing effects on the skin. Kukui Body Silk should be used twice daily when recreating in the sun, once in the morning and at night. This rich cream is a great moisturizer year round and will keep your skin soft, moisturized, and youthful looking. Caribbean Solutions uses no parabens as preservatives, only a food grade natural sorbate, various plant extracts and natural vitamin E shown to have natural preservative abilities.
