Japan has announced Godzilla as its official tourism ambassador, shocking no one.

Japan has decided to give Godzilla a ‘symbolic ambassadorship’ because the best way to invite people to visit your country is by welcoming them with a 300 foot dragon monster that levels cities. The ambassadorship doesn’t actually come with any diplomatic responsibilities, which I guess is a good thing since Godzilla doesn’t actually exist.
