Gorgeous Eyes = This Year’s Biggest Winter Beauty Trend

Written by Bryce

Intensely gorgeous eyes are the biggest Winter beauty trend for 2013-2014. While last year’s intense lips were seriously striking, we’re seeing trends move towards slightly more muted lip colors and into bolder, brighter eyes. To do this, every girl needs a full arsenal of perfect-for-her shadows.

  • Start with a clean fresh face.
  • Add your foundation, CC, or whatever else you’re obsessed with for a clean, smooth skin palette. Try not to go overboard with tons of blush or bronzer- the focus here will be on gorgeous eyes!
  • Create a customized palette with Revlon Colorstay Shadowlinks™ to mix and match the exact shades that your beauty-loving heart has been searching for.

Revlon sent me a few of my fave Shadowlinks shades to create a fun, daytime look that I can rock just about anywhere. Application is easy peasy, here’s how I get mine:

  • Use your darkest shade to line the lash areas, working outside in.
  • Use a medium dark shade to work into your eyelid creases for definition.
  • Cover the rest of your lid with a medium to light tone of your choice (metallics are SO in for holiday season!)
  • For added definition, you can add a pop of pale beige, white, or a pearlescent shade to the inside corners of your eyes – perfect for a party or a night out.

I love using Revlon Colorstay Shadowlinks™ because they’re completely customizable at drugstore prices, and easily snap together or come apart to create a new beauty tray for every day of the week if you want. The shades offer such a rich color pay-off in everything from matte to sparkle, so you can work them into every time, day, and occasion for all day wear.
