The hard facts of life aren’t any easier to hear, even when baby animals are involved.
There are precious few things in this life that can’t be made better by baby animals. I don’t know if it’s our maternal/paternal instinct, those huge tear-filled eyes, or the fact that they haven’t yet turned into savage beasts (at least some of them), but baby animals tend to automatically put a smile on our faces.
You would think then, that bad news when delivered by baby animals would be a little easier to take, but that is just not the case. As you can see in these photos, bad news just sucks, no matter how it is delivered.

You can call these baby animals pessimists or realists, but pretty much everything they say is true. Their adorable little faces kind of make it worse actually, especially if you are 30 or over because then you fully understand how much it sucks to grow up, pay taxes, work a full-time job, and deal with the fact that only two days out of your week are actually worth living (Saturday and Sunday).
So if you are having a bad day, I’m sorry, but these baby animals probably won’t make it any better. They will however, remind you that life is very long, full of assholes, and not really likely to end any time soon. How is that for optimistic?
