This hot lemonade is the ultimate home remedy for treating your common cold.

Thanks to lemon’s rich source of vitamin C, which strengthens the immune system, and anti-inflammatory spices, which help kill bacteria, this natural hot lemonade tonic will ward off most seasonal sicknesses and leave you feeling healthier than ever.

Ingredients:

Yields 4-6 cups

  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 2 herbal tea bags
  • 1 inch peeled ginger
  • 1 whole peeled lemon
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 2 tbsp honey

Tip: For an extra immune-booster and zing, add one teaspoon of apple cider vinegar and a dash of cayenne pepper — works every time for me!
