The CW network, known for their unquestionable taste in programming, is giving the people what they want with H8ER – a new series that will allow celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Snooki to confront their Internet haters in real life… snap?
As someone who’s talked a fair amount of Internet shit about the type of ‘celebrity’ who would participate in this show, I can’t say I have any desire to meet face-to-face and get yelled at. I just don’t know how I’d react. If I were sober, I’d probably be like, “OMIGOD KIMMY, I’M JUST JEALOUS! TAKE MY LUNCH MONEY!” but if I were at a bar or something, I’d probably be like “Wha? Who are you, fakin’ ass Kim Kardashian wannabe? Wait, what? You are Kim Kardashian? Yeah, whatever.” I mean, it could go either way.
I’m definitely going to watch H8ER, but at the end of the day it’s going to be just as scripted as any reality show. It’s not like Taylor Swift is going to pull her hair into a ponytail and say, “…let’s take this outside.” Although, that would be awesome.
The show airs in September and will feature reality stars, politicians, and athletes.
