I don’t know how else to say this other than the following: I hate blowing my hair out. I either get it done professionally or tend to leave it as the big haphazard fro-ish mess that it naturally is. I have VERY thick, wavy/curly middle eastern hair that tends to have a mind of it’s own. Blowing it out at home typically takes at least an hour, and I can’t be bothered.
Sooo… I’m either stuck with the somewhat annoying (takes an afternoon basically), and expensive task of trekking to the salon a couple times a week for a good blowout, or I can just let my hair air dry. Since I found Moroccan Oil I basically haven’t been to a salon unless it was for event-worthy hair. My hair is a gorgeous flowing set of waves now, and I assure you: basically no effort was put it.
So here’s my new routine: after shampooing with my fave Curly Sexy Hair shampoo, I follow up with any rich, dense conditioner I have around (I have like 6 different bottles in my shower). When I’m done in the shower, I get out and put a pump or two of Moroccan Oil’s Hydrating Styling Cream into my hands to work through my hair. I follow up by combing it through with a wide-tooth comb to avoid breakage. My last step is putting about a nickel size amount of the pure Moroccan Oil into my palms and working it through my hair. Ta-da! About 2 hours later my hair is dry, full of shiny and well-defined waves and curls.
