Apparently, artist Nickolay Lamm was tired of women complaining, obsessing, and being insecure about their bodies because he created a Barbie using the measurements of an average 19-year-old woman for us to compare ourselves to, instead of comparing ourselves to the anorexic alien Barbie that we all know and envy.
We criticize models all day long for portraying a negative and unrealistic body image while Barbie just sits back in her dream house with not a care in the world. For someone with so many illustrious careers and Skippers and Kellys to care for, you’d think Barbie would be more mindful of the image she projects to the world. Sorry, Barbie, but your friend on the right makes you look like Lindsay Lohan in the tabloids for weight problems.

I’ll take the tall, skinny one. Not into short girls with chunky thighs.
