I have never successfully conceived a child but if I ever become a dad, after I get over the trauma of having stretch-marks, I plan to be a fun dad that raises his kid to treat life like a big, long adventure.
The family dynamic in America has changed; gone are the days when dads had to be stern pillars of the nuclear family model. Nowadays, fathers can be silly, goofy, artistic, and caring. In fact, the best fathers are the ones who allow their children to see their personalities outright, and relate to their kids on more than one level. If my kid wants to play baseball, I will learn not to throw like a sissy bitch so I can teach them. If my kid wants to be a ballerina, I will let them have their pick of the myriad of tutus and point shoes in my closet. I think the most important part of being a good dad is letting your child be whoever they want to be. The dad in these photos is not only doing that, but commemorating it so his daughter can laugh about it with her friends, when she is grown up and working as a construction worker/ballerina/nail artist that knows how to grill up a mean porterhouse.
