Les Trompe L’Oeil de Chanel – Trendy Tats

Written by Ashley

Due to their reign as the epitome of glamour, sophistication & minimalistic fashion – I follow every move the house of Chanel makes on the runway. Their new fashion fix? Channeling stars like Victoria Beckham & Angelina Jolie & Nicole Richie with their killer tats, Transfer Tats have risen.

These aren’t your ordinary 25cent machine tats… in March, Karl Lagerfeld and the house that Coco built will be releasing a 55 piece transfer tattoo set, peaking our interest to no end. When is it appropriate to wear these? Will they smudge on my dress, I wonder?63598_1_468.jpeg

Whatever the case may be,in a more temporary way – no need to sign your life away at the tattoo parlor to some guy named Bubba!  These are a more chic, and much more temporary way to get all hard & sh*t while showing your loyalty to Chanel.  And at $75 for a pkg of 55, why not try it out?

What do you guys think of this wild trend? Will it last?

  • I ‘m not sure if it will last. Temporary tats have been around for awhile. Chanel is just getting into it? I think they are beautiful and may possibly be an option for some. The thing is, if you’re into the tat lifestyle then they just won’t be enough. If you just want to look like it for a night – it’s perfect. Most of the other fakes just look cheesy. I think most people will try them once or twice but then move on to the next thing. I did just think of something though, if you try them you may end up wanting one permanently and this would be a great way to do a “test drive” without the cheese factor. 😉

  • Real tats are trashy, these are tacky – look at me I spend $75 on temporary tattoos but buy my baby’s formula with food stamps…UGH – another thing for low class people to waste their money on.

  • My daughter would love those temp tattoos (she’s a kid). Too bad they don’t sell them in a smaller pack.
