The 90’s are officially back, as Lisa Frank has released a fashion line.
Any girl or gay guy who grew up in the 1990s knows exactly who Lisa Frank is. Since I was a little boy I couldn’t technically shout my love of Lisa Frank from the rooftops, meaning I couldn’t really carry around her full-on trapper keeper without fear of being gay-bashed, but I definitely had a pencil, a pencil eraser, and more folders and stickers than you could shake a stick at.
In fact, as a graphic artist growing up in the computer age, Lisa Frank was absolutely one of my first inspirations. She’s in inspiration to us all. That is why I am so glad she has finally come out with a clothing line. It isn’t enough that MTV is creating a station specifically for 90’s cartoons, Lisa Frank fashions are exactly what this world needs.
