Marc Jacobs Fall 2013 Runway Makeup, It’s Good

Written by Bryce

Marc Jacobs, you always have my heart pumping like it’s about to jump out of an airplane at an altitude of 30,000 feet. Your runway makeup for Marc by Marc Jacobs at MBFW was fab, so I’m spreading your Shiseido know-how with all my glammed-up readers so they can look as hot as your fashion week models. Here goes:

INSPIRATION

It’s all about glamour at the Marc by Marc Jacobs 2013 Fall/Winter show. Shiseido Makeup Artistic Director Dick Page created a bright pop of bold color with a classic red lip, offset by neutral eyes and defined natural brows.

THE LOOK

EYES

•       Dick created soft and diffused eyes with natural shades, applying Shimmering Cream Eye Shadow in Sable (BR709) from lash line to crease as well as along lower lash line, and Caviar (BK912) to the outer 1/3 of the lid.

•       One of Dick’s favorite off-label tricks, he used the Benefiance Full Correction Lip Treatment around the eye area as a finishing touch to diffuse the shadow.

BROWS

•       Using the NEW Eyebrow Styling Compact and Shimmering Cream Eye Shadow, brows were brushed up and defined to add weight to the look.

LIPS

•       Opaque red lips were created with a combination of the NEW Lacquer Rouge in Sanguine (RD413) and Drama (RD501).
