On Monday night I was invited by Proactiv to attend Justin Bieber’s concert in a private VIP suite with dinner & cocktails at the Staples Center in LA. Just imagine the sound bytes…
I almost flaked, but I was excited to finally meet up with Jamie Stone, and so I took a subway ride south to Downtown LA…

Turns out Bieber is pretty much amazing, and the super young crowd he draws generates an euphoric energy that reminds me of my Backstreet Boys days. I was chatting with one of the other bloggers on duty that night about how easier it seems to be for a boy than a girl to grow up in the limelight when it comes to body issues and dealing with fame. I just can’t foresee this kid turning into a drug addict or a douchebag. It’s pretty cool that he’s spreading so massively an innocent message of love, and definitely heart-melting to take the elevator up to the suites with an ecstatic group of 10 year-olds.
