I went #behindtheglow with Neutrogena for a 2015 Oscars viewing party that beat every other year.
Let me preface by saying I’m a lucky girl– I got to spend my Sunday night with a bunch of my best girls (my 2 year old daughter included), but, even better than that was the fact that I got to make our 2015 Oscars viewing party a totally #behindtheglow experience complete with Neutrogena facials and makeup touchups, champagne, berries, and all the red carpet snark a gal could dream of.
We had our group meet at the Langham Place Hotel on 5th Avenue in NYC (it’s so swanky, I’d watch just about anything there with a smile on my face) to turn on the red carpet arrivals and then the show itself. By the way, hands down, my fave part of the show was Oprah’s golden Lego guy. Didn’t you love that?
While we watched a facial pro cleansed our skin and lovingly applied the new Neutrogena Hydro Boost products to give us a serious dose of moisture (it was dry and cold on Sunday!), glow, and downright radiance. A makeup artist touched us up with fab Neutrogena cosmetics after, and if you haven’t tried their chubby lip crayons, you really need to. I was super impressed with the way the cream felt under the makeup though– it simultaneously added moisture and radiance to my skin while acting as a primer to really hold the makeup and make it budge-proof.
My bestie Aly Walansky had her makeup finished first, and I couldn’t even believe the artist didn’t use a separate primer– her face was that flawless just from the cream!
If all goes according to all my life goals for 2015, I’ll be watching every single awards show in this way. Seriously. I want to be at the Langham getting spoiled with facials and makeup for everything from the National Pony Shows to the Critics Choice Awards. All of it.
This post was sponsored but this event really was fab and I loved spending every minute with my fave gals!
Seriously, this was the most fun I’ve ever had on a Sunday night! I say we make this a regular thing!
Looks like you had an amazing time!
Next time I want in on the action! So fun!
