It’s bitter cold outside, so I hope you’ve put away your cute ballet flats for a pair of warm, tall boots that will protect your little tootsies from the harshest of elements. This season the boots are taller than ever, though, so you need a good pair of ultra-tall, cushy socks that will stand up to winter weather and serious wear and tear. Here are some of my favorites:
Good Hew Cable Knit Knee Highs. They’re lightweight but will keep you warm because they’re made from merino wool and bamboo! Plus, they’re tall enough to wear with even your wildest boots.
Steve Madden Knee Highs. They’re comfy, easy to wash, and only $14. Sexy tip: try wearing these around the house with a pair of lace boyshorts and a tank top to seduce your man. It’ll work every time.
Treehouse Knits Socks for Intense Weather. These are the socks you want to pile on under your snow boots for the most intense day of winter. They’re thick, hearty, rugged, and warm. You’ll probably end up living in them once you put them on.
American Apparel Thigh High Socks. I’m not sure how much more coverage any reasonable person could ever ask for from a sock, but I’d like to thank American Apparel for stepping up to the plate to basically just create crotchless leggings and calling them “socks.”
